MES systems assume the world is deterministic. Real factories run on exceptions - missing parts, sick operators, downstream failures - that humans absorb.

How we're building it
Task graphs the shop floor can actually edit, machine-level agents that watch IoT feeds, and exception routes that ask the right human when the graph cannot continue.
